Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist and currently competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is also the elder sister of former UFC Flyweight champion as well as fellow UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sport career as an Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals via unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko took home an additional medal in the year 2007 with a bronze, a silver in 2008 and a gold medal in 2011 and was crowned the IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia began her professional journey in 2003 and was the winner of her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016, and also the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina's most recent fight took place against Isa Tidblad-Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win by a unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko made the professional MMA record at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She was victorious by TKO in round 2 and the following two matches were staged at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she returned to the ring in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won Anissa Haddaoui by a unanimous decision. She then beat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, by a unanimous decision. In 2018, she left the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's formidable strike abilities let her TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Antonina accepted the UFC offer after her victory. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut at the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight following her first fight by unanimity. Antonina bounced back from losing to defeat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, and also defeated Ariane. Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
